Keller Williams RED Day 2021

Every year since May 2009, Keller Williams associates from around the world have taken a step back from their real estate businesses and taken time to give back to their local communities. We at Basnight Garner are proud to call Keller Williams Crystal Coast our home, and RED Day is one of our favorite parts of being a part of KW.

This annual day of service occurs every second Thursday of May in celebration of KW vice chairman, Mo Anderson's birthday. Twelve years after its beginning, RED Day continues to grow in momentum as KW agents around the world unite in a shared commitment to philanthropy. This year RED Day fell on May 13.

The local KW office here in Morehead City has been involved in supporting multiple philanthropic efforts throughout the years, such as food drives, assisting the Hospice House, working at Trinity Center, etc. This year we decided to do a highway trash cleanup along both sides of the Bridges Street Ext!

Altogether, we ended up pulling out and bagging up FIVE pickup truck loads of trash from this highway. It was a much needed service and we had a great time of community fun and teamwork as we worked. We want to give a big shoutout and thank you to our local KW team leaders, who did a lot of work behind the scenes to pull off this big day. What an amazing success!
